OK, I've done a search, and couldn't find a topic that already addressed this particular problem, so if this has already been answered, I apologize.
Anyway, I've recently re-installed Madden 08 after feeling a football jones and not having any other alternatives to satisfy it. (Damn you EA, we want 10 on the PC!!!!)
I played a few games just to get me re-acclimated to the controls and pacing of the game, then started a franchise with my sadsack Lions. I played through the preseason, regular season, and the playoffs up to the Superbowl without any issues. I estimate I played around 30 or so games up to this point. Game ran flawlessly. Now, when I play the Superbowl, at a random spot during the game, it just freezes. The video is stuck at the transition between plays, and the only audio is the crowd background noise. I then have to Ctrl-Alt-Del and force Windows to close the game. I've tried 4 times now to play the game, and each time it has crashed. Does anyone have any insight to why this suddenly happens, and maybe a way to correct it?
Here's is more info on my situation...
It has crashed every time during the transition animation between running one play and calling another, when I don't have any control over the game.
I've tried all the usual troubleshooting: made sure my video drivers are up-to-date, patched the game, quit all unneeded background processes, restarted before playing, even uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
My computer is more than able to handle the game, as I've played a bunch of games up to this point without issue. I have Window 7 64-bit, but again that not the problem as I've been playing the game for a while without incident.
I haven't made any changes to my computer between the last time it worked and now, hardware or software, so there isn't a new conflict with the game. I did install a current (Nov 09) roster and an updated uniform for the Lions, but those were installed well before the problem arose.
So, there's my pickle. Anyone have any thoughts on my problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated...|||Since I posted this, I've made a discovery. The game locks up immediately before my team kicking off. I played 2 games, one where the opposition kicked off to start, and one where I kicked off. If the other team kicks off, there's no problem, but the game locks up when getting ready for my team to kick off. I can kick field goals and PATs, but kick offs lock the game up.

Madden 08 Superstar Question
So I have been playing Madden 10 a lot.. but needed something for my laptop while i travel.
Madden 08's superstar mode blows away Madden 10's... if you ask me. Lots of fun.
I need help though. Is there a way to simulate or skip plays that don't involve your superstar when playing a game? Madden 10 and NCAA 10 do this. You only control your player and you can skip all the other plays. I can't seem to do this in Madden 08. I just have to either watch or play along on defense. Any suggestions??

Lost registration code for Madden 05
I recently had a computer virus and i had madden 05 and mvp baseball 2004 on my computer, since i downloaded them a long time ago i no longer had the madden 05 codes to redownload it but i did for the baseball game,
I was able to have the company that fixed my computer save all of my old programs, I have all of the information showing in a folder but when i try and play it, it asks for the code like i am playing it for the first time, is there anyway i can recover this information or is gone forever?|||Try e-mailing EA sports, I know I lost a code for a older game before and I e-mailed them asking for help and they just gave me the code. I believe it was a EA game as well, so hopefully they can send one your way.

I am part of a non-profit organization that is looking for experienced coaches of Madden to actually roleplay as a coach in a game called SecondLife.
Games are played from spawn files from a master franchise file maintained by the league. We play in Coaches Mode with 7 minute quarters.
You are probably asking yourself "what would I have to do as a SecondLife in-world coach?"
Well, you would have to manager your players. You need to make sure they workout. By working out, players earn bonus points added to their OVR in Madden. The flip side is, players who don't workout lose points in their OVR.
Players workout in gyms owned by either a team or the SLNFL. Players have HUDs that communicate with our workout tracking website. They have to physically be at their computer while working out since the HUD makes them click on a verification box every two minutes.
As a coach, you will have access to see how much your players are working out. You can praise the ones doing their job and motivate those who don't.

sup sine were going to get screwed on 2010, can we atlest get a patch for rosters, or how about just let the pc users who want madden 2010 just make it download only for us then u can save money.

If EA Sports refuses to release a football game for the PC........
Then the PC should be excluded from the exclusivity agreement and other companies should be allowed to make football games w/ the NFL license for the PC. EA Sports is clearly of the opinion that the PC is not a viable platform for sports games and if that's the case, it's criminal that they're allowed to just sit on the license and NO ONE can make an actual NFL/College football game for the PC with real players/teams in it. That is beyond ridiculous and to me should be near-illegal.

Did you even bother to think before you slandered the entire PC community?|||Just make a generic high school football game with about 50 fake teams based on larger cities and allow the users to create their own teams and playbooks and have them auto-download for instant play kind of like Raven Shield did with custom maps.
No licensing crap to worry about and as long as the gameplay was solid it would crush anything else out there.

Running Help
Playing Madden 08 on PC, doing my superstar HB, cant make any yards. any1 got any tips?
I have read that you shouldnt spam sprint straight away, so ive started waiting and using the step left n right ones, but even then im only averaging like 70-100 yards a game, with an average of like 3 yards per rush.
also i only get like 4-5 broken tackles a game. any tips how to better break through tackles?
also with step left n right seems you need to do it quite early to beat guys with it, also the same with spin and stiff arms.
any help would be great

Sirs, I am calling for a COMPLETE boycott of all EA titles in all genres until such time as you realize your mistake in not bringing the latest Madden to those of us who choose our PCs as our preferred game consoles. Skipping one year may have been a viable business decision, but I for one will now revolt.

Have you ever played a game & won. Then go to play another one & the person your playing is doing the same bs the last person did??? That's because they all get their little cheese plays from the same page. AskMadden.com is the site where all these lames go to & learn all this bullcrap. Checkout the site & you will see what I'm talking about. This should help some of you level the playing field. Why not give them a dose of their own medicine? I personally don't use any of the crap, but I do use it as a guide to figure out how to beat it. Once you see the play in action just find a defense to counter it. I usually use 1 defensive play all game. The worst part about it is that it works on almost all offenses, whether it's a run or pass. Every now & then I might have to flip the play, but it's still the same play.

Madden for pc might be ONLIVE. I was playing with the free membership on onlive (btw it is free now)and i have to say i was impressed with the way it played. I really liked playing the games with the mouse and keyboard(you do have the option of using a xbox360 controller). I remember hearing the ea was working with onlive and thought i even heard Madden was going that direction and if so all of us pc people will have madden (next gen) on the pc. If anyone has any official news if Madden or College football is going to onlive please fill us in.

PC: Saved Replays - How can I use a controller to control?
I've got some replays that I've saved, but when I watch them, only the keyboard replay controls are available. I have a Xbox 360 controller hooked up to the pc, and I play the game using the controller, and during a game, can use the Xbox 360 controller to watch replays.

How to restart Madden for PC.
I'd put money on that the reason new games are not being created on the PC is due to the ease of piracy. Madden 08 glitch?
So the other night I was playing and totally screwed up the last kickoff of the game, or so I thought.
Last night I went on to play the next game (game 12 in my third season) and the CPU put the opening kickoff out of bounds. No big deal, right? Well when I finally had to kick, my kick went out of bounds as well. I found that when I pull back on the analog stick I can't push up no matter what.
It's obviously not a problem with my controller because it happens every time the computer kicks or punts the ball as well.
So basically kicking broke for some reason. Is there a way to fix this? I saved my game, closed Madden and restarted and kicking still isn't working.
It really sucks because I love playing Madden on the PC and I don't want to go to a console version because I've dedicated a lot of time to my franchise.|||unplug the controller an plug it backm in|||

Every time i go to play tigerwoods or madden 08 online, i click the play online button and it crashes back to windows and i get a error that the program has been stopped then does the windows report thing, im using vista the games work fine offline but not online i used to play tigerwoods online all the time with this computer then all a sudden this error comes up please help me|||vista is awful for madden i suggest you contacting ea support, and talking to them about it|||it's ur o/s! vista is s@#$ for ea sports games! i bought a backward compatible laptop so i could go back to xp and i have had no problems!!
OPENINGS IN 08 PC LEAGUE WITH CUSTOM PLAYBOOKS
PFL has one and possibly more openings, as we prepare to start our 27th straight season since 2k3. PFL is a 24-team, NO-CONE, PC custom league, with real NFL players. With the assistance of Orbit639, Jason Taber and others we will be the first (known) madden league to use custom playbooks in league play. If u map out a playbook in a word file, Orbit has been retained by PFL to turn it into a playbook that can be used in ur online league games or scrims. The process is so easy that all u do is drop a file in ur my documents/madden folder, similar to the ini file, when u play ur PFL game, and then remove it to play other league games. We are replacing some of the seldom used playbooks in the game with custom ones, but the majority of the playbooks will still be there for folks who want to continue using their current playbooks. Join PFL and get in on the fun. PFL uses the all-madden setting and our rules are designed to emphasize strategy and not arcade skills.

i am a long time buyer of EA's madden guys. been following it for back when super nintendo was the rage. i have a ps2 but came across madden 08 pc at a yard sale. scooped it up for ten bucks but when i try to play online it wont register my cd key cuz its been registered under a diff account. anyone know how to help out with this as im sure u all true madden-ers know that playing the cpu even on all-madden is like taking candy from a baby. thanks all

I'm still quite angry over the decision by EA to kill PC sports titles (except friggin' soccer). I heard Peter Moore blather about Piracy and Bugginess and blah, blah, blah ad infinitum.
So, if those reasons are true, I feel the solution lies in a service like the newly hatched Onlive. For those that don't know, Onlive is basically "terminal gaming". Essentially, you game on their servers.
I realize that this wouldn't be a good option for those without an always on connection. I 'd prefer a CD, as opposed to relying on someone else's servers to play. But, if the options are Onlive or nothing, I'd begrudgingly accept Onlive.
Onlive eliminates the piracy issues and the differences in hardware configurations.

NCAA Mod for Madden 08 PC (Demo)

This is a 14-team demo of a project that has been in progress for awhile over at football-freaks.com. Since EA discontinued NCAA years ago on the PC we decided to modify Madden with updated rosters as well as accurate uniforms and stadiums (as far as Madden will allow), as well as crowds, banners, and other graphics. It allows you to play exhibition mode with the following teams:

Auburn
Boise State
Florida State
Miami
Michigan
Ohio State
Oklahoma
Pittsburgh
Texas
UCLA
USC
Utah
West Virginia
The final version will have 64 teams and will probably be done before the college football season begins. We are almost done with the team and stadium graphics; but as the season approaches we will need to update the rosters and depth charts for the 2010 season. Got the game installed and the whole nine yards. Running Windows Home 64bit, with a gtx480 and i7 930. Installs fine, but does absolutely nothing when i try to double click the game to play. Ive tried running it off the CD, and even admin. under my c drive. Nothing happens, no errors or even the title screen comes up>>>>> anyone know what the deal is?

how to improve online play
im having tough time coming up with strategies and plays that can make me better on offense and defense. I use basic tactics to attack on offense n defense but its not working. for example i use big singleback to protect against rush and on defense i use 3-4 so i can blitz the quarterback but it doesnt work. i cant find anything that could stop my oppenents but sometimes i beat someone whose 10 levels above me. my record is 100 and 190 (under 500), i suck. do you have anything i can use to upgrade my game defensively and offensively. i do anything to improve. i need as many plays as you use so i can become much better.|||Im a wizard at madden but I suk at a lot of other online games.

Please, Help Me Unstick My Stuck Mouse.
I just got Madden 08 (at a discount). Installed it on my PC (actually a laptop). The game play is fine, no problems there. It's just the mouse. I have to keep dragging it across the screen to select things. This happens regardless of if I have joystick plugged in or not. I have used an external mouse (as opposed to the laptop mouse pad), but still no luck.

Its bad enough that EA shafts us pc users again, but to show how much they don't care about us all, they don't even give 2 craps that we bash them on the forum. Jagoffs. I hope these greedy bastards have a tragic financial mishap and they all end up out on the streets suffering to survive and find a scrap of food. Questions about Madden '08 PC
Hi all,
I finally got it, and I'm doing a dry run through a franchise just to get a feel for the game.
I have a few questions though:
1. How do you change a player's position? I guess I can see other teams doing it (the whole "changing positions"/"failed positions" thing) at the beginning of a new season, but the position option is always greyed out for me on the player info screen.
2. Is there a bug with fullbacks? Some years, I don't see any available for draft, while on average I only see 2 or so. I have a hunch it has something to do with #1 above, maybe changing a TE to a FB or something.
3. In my old version of Madden, you could set each position to certain preferences (have LB's set to "pass coverage," "run coverage," or "balanced.") Anything like that here?
4. There are two preseason roster screens that are always empty with no options. One is after the retired players, and the other is after the draft (it says "pre-June" or something like that.) What are those for?
5. Is there a Hall of Fame?
6. Which weeks does progression happen?
7. Do you get stadium or team unlocks after completing certain tasks? I checked around online, and I only found "Madden points" on the consoles.
8. How does draft prospect scouting work? What information do you get from the college all-star game, and how do the rookie workouts work?

I just purchased madden 08 for PC. I read all over the web about importing created teams into a franchise, but I cannot see how to do this? would someone please explain the proceedure to me? thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Start the franchise, pick a team that you either don't like or would like to see relocated. I usually pick the Texans because its a stupid name for a team. Modify Madden 08 pc into a Teaching Tool
I would like to see EASports modify and re-release Madden 08 pc as a Playbook Teaching tool for High School Football Coaches. On load, go directly to Playbooks feature as a default... plus add an enhanced Playbook Editor.
If this is not possible, release a tool or utility that allows me to bypass the menu structure, and go the Playbook features directly each time.
Madden 08 pc can become a great Playbook Teaching tool for High School and College Football Coaches.

No Madden on PC
I just found out there will be no Madden for the PC. Unacceptable! I've been playing and buying Madden since year one. Switched to PC gaming about ten years ago to avoid having to spend $300 to $500 on a new gaming system every few years every time play station or genesis and now xbox wants to upgrade their console. I can upgrade my pc myself for a fraction of the cost. There's no way i'm going out to buy one of those time limted unversitile consoles to appease EA. What I will do, however, is boycott EA until this is rectified. By making it available for the Wii shows that EA cares more about appeasing their newer console bases than their longtime supporters. I taught my 8 year old how to play Madden last year and were anxiously awaiting this year's game. I'll have to explain to him that EA now sucks.|||Unacceptable is right. I completely agree. I have more tied up in PCs and have no desire to purchase a platform. Given that I am an adult and have no interest in the majority of console games, I have no desire to purchase a console system. I have been a loyal Madden gamer for years. Until now. No more it seems. I'll give my money to companies that apparently want it.

Create A Team questions and problems
I run an online league with original teams. The simulator I used to use is no longer functioning because it's out of date software. I want to run it with Madden, and I need to know what is the latest version that I can use to get what I need. How to get a download for my Madden software??
I already own a legitimate copy of Madden NFL 08 for PC, but at this time, my D-drive is shot & will not read disks. Is there any way to get a download (free) for my software since I already own and have bought it?
I know with Windows products, for example, you can get a free download if you can prove that you own the copy. Something like that...anything like that for Madden NFL 08?

Fact is, he "was" and "is" a top talent, especially that year. There was no more electrifying player than Cleveland's Pro Bowl player:

An OLD man's View on EA & No PC
This is written with the hope that somebody "important" from EA sports watches their forum.
I am a 36 year old who still likes to play video games. I'm a typical American male, and I have a mortgage, car payments, 2 very small children, etc. I cannot justify buying a gaming only platform. I'd love to and I could afford it, but there are more important things in life right now.
I own a PC because of it's functionality. It serves purpose in our home. One purpose this computer has is entertaining Dad (me) with video games. I was very upset when I found out Madden 2010 would not be available for the PC. Just like some other guy on this forum, I recently purchased a new system, and made sure I vamped it up so it could handle games like Madden, and EA's hockey, etc. So yeah, I'm a little burned.
It's my fault I guess. I should've done some research. I've been a long time fan of EA sports, from all the way back in the Playstation (just the regular one) days. I started playing PC games around the turn of the century, and supported EA every year with each new year's game. Because of being busy, I have been out of playing games for about 5 years, and I had no idea that EA was dumping on the PC players.
The bottomline is not everybody is willing to spend three to four hundred dollars on a gaming system when all they like to play is 3 types of games (football, hockey, racing).
Seriously, I had no idea this was going on, and you can't believe how much I was looking forward to playing Madden 2010, and NHL 2010. I finally got a system to play some serious games, and I was freakin' drooling. Now I'm crying.|||thats me as well 37 2 kids same issues
though We have a wii but madden WII is a major joke|||I won a PS3 in a raffle, else I'd not have it. I can tell you, Madden and NCAA aren't all that great. I still play Madden 05 on my PC because the "fun" factor is about the same. Kind of disappointed that both games have some seriously frustrating issues.]
I can tell you 2k Sports did a baseball game that was fun, as was their NBA game last year. Try them out, if you're into Baseball/Basketball. Hopefully their Hockey will make it to the PC.
You're not missing much in Madden... Not sure about EA Hockey since I got 2k Hockey instead - which is a blast.
Just my opinion. And yes, I'm an old man too. =P|||Im in the same boat with all of you. but i bought a PS3 and Madden for the PC is a much better game by far.|||
Try getting a ps2 and madden for ps2|||I started with Madden '04, and I just bought '08. Given that they added almost nothing to the game, took out what I liked, and made everything 50% slower, I think they're suffering from Monopoly Syndrome.
If it makes you feel any better, I think the Madden franchise is dying, and it's their own darn fault.

I'm 38, male, house, mortgage, own a business, etc. Just like HoopGoobner, I played the game (hockey) on the PS1 in the late 90s.. and have played it, since NHL 2000, on the PC. Year after year I would juice up my computer to more than exceed the game's requirements, and year after year I would purchase EA's hockey game, and did this all the way up to NHL 08.
There were a lot of advantages to the game being on the PC, but it was obvious since NHL 07 that the PC genre was dying, the game wasn't advancing and in comparison to the 'next gen' console versions, the PC version completely stopped evolving, and was far inferior to that of the consoles. I mean, it was a completely different game - nothing at all was similar - even the play-by-play commentary were by different announcers. Controls were different, graphics were different, strategies were different, different modes were available, and in fact - the PC version of the game was made by a completely different set of programmers in a different city.
In the hockey game, the PC game actually stopped evolving starting with NHL 2005. NHL 06, 07, 08, and 09 were exactly the same, just minor graphical and roster updates. Meanwhile, NHL 07 on the Xbox360 was a complete overhaul. PC got left in the dust and finally, for NHL 10 - EA stopped making it for the computer. There is no NHL 10 for the PC so just like you, HoopGoobner, you are out of luck.
Among some of the reasons EA gave for cancelling the PC product - was because of the easy way to pirate PC games, and they lost a lot of money as a result. That plus the unauthorized tampering people would do to modify the graphics within it, the problems from one PC to another - crashing issues, and that overall in all genres, not just sports games, all genres of PC games have dropped significantly over the years because it's all about the consoles now.
I was too addicted to videogame hockey for me not to have NHL 10.. and since I made the decision to get an Xbox360 for the game, I purchased NHL 09 for it as well (even though I had 09 for the PC). The console version was far superior so I never touched the PC and have now gotten comfortable playing the game with my 46" HD 1080p television with full surround sound, lying on my couch to play, etc.. and don't know if I would go back to the PC..
However, I would think about it if they started releasing again for the computer - IF, and only IF - the versions were the same if not superior to the console version.
My 2 cents.

I absolutely refuse to believe the "they're not selling well" or piracy mentality, for a lot of reasons. 2K Sports have now for 2 straight years released the Xbox 360 port of NBA2K on the PC, and this years was even an improvement from 2K9 in that they added all of the online functionality. They also released MLB2K9, and 10 has been confirmed as well. So how are they doing it? A company that we all can figure out does not have the resources of an EA Sports, yet they're trying. And the games are being priced at 19.99. You're telling me that they're making a ton of money on that?
The problem I have with EA Sports on the PC is simple: The Xbox 360 has now been out for 5 full iterations of Madden/NCAA/NBA/NHL/Tiger, and not ONE of those games was ever given the "next gen" treatment on PC. And NCAA Football has not even been released on PC in over 10 years now. So how can you state that PC Gaming isn't profitable when you yourself are not putting maximum effort into making a product that people would actually want to buy?
ONE YEAR EA Sports, that's all I'm asking. Go "all out" for one year on releasing quality, complete ports of the 5 games I listed above for the PC. I'm not even asking for anything above and beyond what's in the 360/PS3 versions, just a straight port on par with what 2K is doing for their sports games. And you know what, if they don't sell up to your desires, then fine. Don't ever make another one. But don't give me this "Sports games don't work on the PC" crap when the argument is so totally flawed by the fact that inferior games are being created.
I would buy all 5 of those games on PC without hesitation if they were treated right. Hell I'd buy another copy of NCAA/Madden for a friend. But when you're releasing PS2 ports on a platform that is more powerful than the 360, what the hell do you expect from your customers?
Make a freaking game worth buying, and we'll buy it.|||Go on any pirate site on the web and there are pages of Madden 10 for xBox and ps2. So why not quit making it for them. I Have madden 10 on ps3 and it sucks soooooo bad. I've gone back to 08 on pc.

By the way. Why is there a stat for "Swagger"??? Are you serious?? In the midst of all the turmoil this game has succomb to, someone decided to add a "Swagger" stat. If you don't believe me go to Roster and Rating on the Madden 11 page. Pick any team, before the birth month is "Swagger". Lmao considering the fact that they thought it would make an improvement to gameplay. If it's not in the game add it anyway!!!! Too Funny!!!!

It originally was made for superstar mode only, but was updated so that it can change the camera to multiple viewing angles in any game. It also allows you to change how timeouts work, and can give you superstar in-game influence points and out-of game creation points.
Nza's editor, which can also be found on that site, can enable a coach/sideline view in franchise mode as well.

Madden 08 & Ventrilo Voice Server (PC)
Hey everyone, the reason i am posting here is because there is a ventrilo voice server i go on and EVERYONE there plays Madden. There are about 30 of us there. We just want to add a bunch more people and get the joint poppin 24/7.
I'm not a fan of the headsets that xbox offers, the quality is low and you can only have 8 people in one room.
On Ventrilo the sound quality is perfect and there are many advantages if you're someone that logs on frequently.
Leagues can sometimes be a pain because you don't have that contact with everyone to play your games on time (schedule games) or to discuss trades and things like that...on Ventrilo we're a community who loved Leagues. We are hardcore Madden players...it's almost all we do. It's also hard to keep leagues together with random friends on PC, on here...no one leaves the Franchise for various reasons....we play till the end. We've been doing this since August of 07 and had leagues on Madden 08 PC and as we play Madden we can talk on Ventrilo on the computer to our opponents and everyone else.
Anyway, if you're interested you can reply here and i'll show you how to login and get ventrilo

|||Well we have some people on here who play 08 as well, no need to bash anyone for what game they play.|||That entire Ventrillio Server is FULL of RACIST PIGS who do nothing but LIE and CHEAT !!! I once went on that server and played a game of Madden 08 against a well known member, about mid-way through the 2nd Qtr and the score 47-10 in my favor, this guy decides to disconnect the game, so i am thinking no big deal, he quit and blah blah blah, i come back into easo lobby and my 7 game win streak is GONE and it says minus 1 , so i confront the cheater in Ventrillio, all i got was laughter from the entire crowd and after about 2 minutes of me pleading my case that thier friend just cheated me, i was called many derogatory names and promptly thrown out of the server by the site admin.I have never returned to that site and just reading all the great things this guy had to say about it makes me want to drop back and PUKE!!! dont get suckered into that whirlwind of Lies.|||Look man, 08 is in the past. If you're still crying about something that happened 2-3 years ago then you really need to move on. We're on the Xbox doing tournaments and leagues and whatnot and we enjoy it to the fullest and have fun. We're not just some group of cheesers or whatever you call it or else I wouldn't even bother.

|||I had a similar experience, since i wasnt a regular on that server, they basically threw me out, but i left before that could happen...that server is predomediatly run my afro-negros...and they havent learned to co-habitate yet|||Look guys its all in good fun we joke, laugh, play and just try to have a good time that's all. If you feel that these guys really get under your skin then that's on you. No need to get sensitive by what someone who's thousands of miles away from you get the best of ya.
But what my goal is to spread the word about our server for when the Madden 11 game comes out, that way we ensure to get the most out the game. And like I said its all in fun, no need to take things personally. bunch ya left behind kids age around 17 - 31----there girls and wife or parents cook and they sit in the forum 24 hours and just slap non sense stuff get ya banned or get cheated from them...THATS WHY MADDEN SERIES on PC DIED... for EA it was a HARD time leaven that server on. cause nothing changed..since 2010 jan/feb EA sports not serven community Chat no more<<<.. there rights is good idea... if you see guys stil talken so good about madden PC.. just ask them what PC they use for the game and what INTERNET cheap DIALUP they use compared to the time we got today.... no UPGRADES done in past 7 years of them... if you want more storys hit me up... otherwise kids hf playen DONKEY KONG08 madden on your own..: EA SPORTS on Ps3 and X BOX..if them no brainers don t know why!!! just call up suport EA madden... or EA sports suport.. better say call them personal.. you myd the best of LOL... not 100% allways good the talk about MADDEN series ...mostly the 07 version 6 acounts died cause of kids fighten each other and cheaten...

Madden 2008 online play
Hi,
I deleted Madden 2008 for the PC a while ago. Since there is no 2009 I am wondering if we can still play 2008 online? If so, is there a date when EA plans on taking 2008 off the net?

I can assure you that EA as a company does value all of our customers regardless of the platform in which they play. While i can not give you an exact reason for the decision, i can assure you there must have been a valid reason for it. Again, i do apologize and hope this does not completely ruin your opinion of EA as a whole.

i havent updated my rosters since the last time you told me which one to download, we should be ok, when you have the time just let me know, i think im ready , last night i tore up this guy named RoyE180 or something close to it, hes 2100 and legit looking, game discoed with me up 56-35 , and yup, i got the loss, but oh well, this game is 2 years old and if peeps cant handle a loss by now, they never will ... peash|||When I got a respose from customer relations they said that Easports designers read what the players of there games say online and try to learn from them, i believe that to be accurate, if it was part of product developement, makes sense. hope they try to break the berrier of PC because EVERYBODY has a computer, few people have a consule by comparison, EA needs to figure out a way to tap into that market and exploit it for boat loads of CASH!!!I say ONE COMERCIAL CAMPAIN for Madden PC and there are literally 10's of thousands of new gamers online INSTANTLY!!!!!. my server was built in 1998 P3 933 overclocked to 1.3 reflashed the bios so it can now handle 2 gb(from 512) and has 512mb graphicscard
my gaming PC is a monster when you compare it to a 360/ps3 COre i7 2.9 GTX 295 and 6 gb at 1066 no way a ps3 matches this plus I can UPGRADE IT BY adding another graphics card and more ram and on and on

EA should show it's support for all those gamers out there that bought Madden 09 and had so many glitches that it was impossible to play. WE GOT RIPPED OFF. We support EA and it seems all they do is repackage the same glitches and make us wait till we find them and complain so much that they are forced to make patches.
(My personal glitch) THE FROZEN FRANCHISE 2012, basically I paid +$50 for a few franchise seasons of play. Imagine is you playing Call of Duty and it froze after the second mission, or Fight Night freezing after your 5th fight.
WE PAID FOR A WHOLE GAME EXPERIENCE AND EA FAILED AND WE HAVE TO PAY FOR IT.

hey Dawk, i have a 360 and gameplay * bad, laggy as hell and there is a full 2sec delay when the QB is about to pass, PC is faster and gameplay is smoother, as far as COD5 is concerned, i play it every night on PC its awsome|||Isn't the best way to play a game thru the PC, because it can handle the games vs these platforms I have a PS3 that can't handle the translation of the game always like Madden 09 glitchy as heck on the PS3 when i play old 08 on the PC it's near perfectly fluid. Same with Fallout 3 glitchy as heck, ign said the best version is on the pc, same with COD4 best version ps3, not my opinion, professional critics on ign and other gameing review sites..|||Each consoles act differently when playing the game, like Madden 2008 is best on PC, but okay on PS2. Certain console have different requirements in order for the game to be played. Madden 2006, for instance, is best on PS2, but worst on PSP.
Another instance is Sonic Unleashed, they're best in PS3, but good in PS2. The gameplay plays differently due to the grapic and how the game was made.

Same with Fallout 3 glitchy as heck, ign said the best version is on the pc, same with COD4 best version ps3, not my opinion, professional critics on ign and other gameing review sites..|||Each consoles act differently when playing the game, like Madden 2008 is best on PC, but okay on PS2. Certain console have different requirements in order for the game to be played. Madden 2006, for instance, is best on PS2, but worst on PSP.
Another instance is Sonic Unleashed, they're best in PS3, but good in PS2. The gameplay plays differently due to the grapic and how the game was made.
I cannot play online
I am not a big gamer and I don't play a lot of games but I bought the Madden 2008 for my PC and I love to play it. I am tired of playing against the computer though. Every time I try to "Play Online" it tells me it is trying to connect or whatever and it never does. I have yet to be able to get online to play. Can anyone help this novice player that doesn't know what he is doing? Thanks!|||Please provide a little more detail.

hello, I bought a computer 2 weeks ago when i install madden everythings was alright but when i'm trying to play online it said taht my account is valid but my game isn't register. when i try to register it it said that the registration key is already in use|||You have to call support.

i have the problem where when i go to play the game and i can't get it to stop accelerated speed. can anybody assist with this. this is for the pc|||Hit ctrl-alt-delete, after you start the game. Go to the madden proccess. Right click on it and set it to infinity 1.

skill training question
hi so i am a pc user and during the skill training one of the things i am supposed to do when i am rushing is to jolt right, the icon above the dummy shows arrow keys and i dont understand waht i am supposed to do here, what are the controls for this "jolt right" move
also in defening i dont understand the move hit stick. the icon is the arrow keys inside an arrow up?
