My new laptop should handle a game like Madden 08 no problem, but I do have a slight problem. When doing the preseason drills... the DB drill and the WR drill get unbearably clunky, i.e. the screen pauses briefly after each repetition. Also, noticed a slight hesitation once in a while in the HB drill also. Other drills and game play seem to work fine. Figure, it must have something to do with Vista 64 because I updated all of the drivers and the specs for the rig are fine. Any help?

Vista x64|||yeah,ea sports games run like s*** on vista! i downgraded back to xp and i've had no problems!!|||how can you downgrade without buying XP again? I've been afraid of getting Vista from all the problems people talk about.|||the laptop i bought was downgradable to xp! hp put this model out to address this issue!! both sets of drivers are included,i can upgrade or downgrade!!|||well lucky you haha. I've been afraid to get a laptop because of Vista, but I heard that those "netbooks" run off different programs that aren't named vista|||really,i'm all ears!!|||i heard most of them use a version of Linux thats not mainstream or leopard, but I could be wrong about leopard|||those are apple op.systems,as far as i know! mine is hp and runs windows!|||The game does hang when the music changes, it would also depend on other programs running in the background on your computer.
