Crash on kickoff return

Hey guys. My madden 08 crashes on the kickoff return, but only if I am returning it. I can kickoff, but the minute the other team scores or halftime occurs and I am now returning the kick, the game crashes. I'm running windows 7 and never had this problem with xp. The game crashes at no other point except when I have to return a kick, otherwise it runs fine. Any solution for this would be great thanks.
