time to boycott EA

once again the pc community gets hosed. i pray for the day ea goes under. thier excusive rights with the nflpa has ruined football and the quality of the game has suffered more and more with each release. nfl2k5 was above and beyond madden but couldnt be played online. somehow someone needs to release a football game to eliminate madden. i have owned every version of madden since it came out in 87' and i own a ton of other ea games. i will nver give another dime to this company and neither should anyone else. screw them.|||The exclusive rights is really screwing over the consumers of madden both on console and PC. Without competition, you'll see barely any change from one year to the next.
NFL 2k5 is still a better game than madden and that was back in 2004-2005......pretty pathetic on EA's part. Can you imagine 2k having rights the past 5 years and what 2k10 would be like???
Its insane that EA is coming out with a madden version for the PSP and PS2 and not the PC....I mean...WTF!.......
Oh, and 2k sports randomly did a port of the 360 version of nba 2k9 out of nowhere.....and now they have mlb 2k9 for PC. Its like it didnt even phase them or have any difficulty in porting the versions.....meanwhile EA is now giving us nothing for 2 straight years.....
I will never buy an EA product again especially now that 2k has released nba and mlb games for the PC and plan to release them in the future.
Almost hard to believe, Im still waiting for official statement but...its not looking good.
Not even one developer can comment saying "madden is in the works for PC" (or not)...... They act like its some huge secret or something.....what is there to hide!

I have talked to 3 devs and they have all said its not being made.|||dont cry dry your eye.. while this comming year there will be no football on PC guess what? 2k sports and the NFL players union won in surpreme court a month ago.. they ruled that EA had a unfair monoply on the NFL and had no real legal right to be the only one with the offical liscense due to some leagal mombo jombo violations... so 2k will be back in your homes in probly 2011 season.....
wich i think is good for football games overall.. we will finaly have a choice on what football game we play and the with end of the monopoly EA will be forced to step up there game and we will see a overall improvement in madden|||i see. thats why they are trying to put as much effort into madden 2010 as possible in an attempt to secure their customer base. i looked at the so called improvements, these are all things from nfl 2k5. the only difference is the adaptive AI. it finally makes sense, i now realize this. its really too bad though, ea has the stupidest programmers in the world. don't be suprised if 2k11 completely steals the market from ea. if 2k won the court case, they have 1 year and 4 months to develop 2k11 while ea only has slightly less than a year.|||what you idiots dont get is that 2k never made a pc version either.|||Well, 2ksports has released NBA 2k9 and MLB 2k9 for the PC. So, we have a much much better chance of 2k coming out with a football game for PC than EA.
