maybe hope for pc

i read an article on ign i think about online francise mode that talked about a pc version with the ps3 and 360
maybe we will have one???|||At the very least they could run some citrix or something and give us a web based game like the new tiger tourney game. Funny how EA can see the value of pc by letting you manage your franchise through the pc but not making a game for the pc.
Do you have a link to the article you are talking about. I don't think madden will be on PC this year as a game. I think you can use your pc to manage your online console crap instead.|||I can remember it was about online francise but not where I read it
I will look|||"For Madden fans who live and breathe their favorite game, you'll be able to follow your franchise, even when you're away from your game console. The Madden NFL 10 Web site will allow you to manage your online franchise team, and it seems that everything--from setting your depth charts to proposing trades--will be available to you via the Web site. There's even an iPhone application in the works that will let you handle your franchise business when you aren't near your PC. No price or release date for the app has been announced yet, but we'll be following up on that soon."
found it you where right it is a web based link only
man Ea is really a bad company to PO people like this
the PC is ok to use as a link but not for a game
now even if they release a PC version I will look very hard at it and if it has a hint of DRM I will not buy it (maybe just to crack it)
|||That info is not about pc gaming it's just as saying "hey Pc fans we made team builder online that you can get access from your pc !!!" All right, but where is the game??? . Related to some infos found on the net EA succed in renewing some game (battleforge i think) by making it free and online so most of people instead of buying the game spend about 70 bucks in upgrades for the game (you all know haw it works ... youhou 1 week sticky gloves for 4$).
EA is telling that following that idea 5 game are in development through that concept
So battleforge, tigerwoods ... wich one are the 3 others ? madden, NHL, baseball, cricket...?or wich ones won't be ?

"Interviewed by the Los Angeles Times upon the recent change of the economic template of the strategy game Battleforge, Frank Gibeau from EA congratulated himself : despite the game sale drowned in its box version with less than 100 000 sales, Battleforge lives an impressive success in its free to play version.
Better than that : the game proposed for 50$ wasn't selling, but most of the people who tried it since it's free to play finally accepted the micro-payment system to buy cards booster (allowing to expand et upgrady your army in battleforge). Some players spent more that 80$ in the online upgrade shop, so about 50% more than the price of the game they wouldn't have bought.
We can say that the transformation of the economic strategy to free to play system had been a true success, as successful for AE to say that 4 or 5 projects asame are in development"
